Destiny 2 Black Armory Gofannon Forge Guide

In this Destiny 2 Black Armory Gofannon Forge guide, we will guide you how to unlock and ignite the Gofannon Forge. The Gofannon Forge is available now after the recent update of the game. However, there are few steps you need to complete before you can take it back.

In order to reclaim the Forge, we will guide you in our Destiny 2 Black Armory Gofannon Forge guide to complete following steps which are mandatory. Our guide is divided into two parts. In first one, we will guide you how to unlock the Gofannon Forge and in second we will guide you how to reignite it.

First, you need to acquire an item called Stolen Black Armory Gear. To acquire the item you will be required to kill Fallen enemies until the item is dropped. Look out for Fallen Captains, item drop chance is increased from them. To kill Fallen enemies, try going to Tangled Shore and killing Fallen enemies.

Destiny 2 Black Armory Gofannon Forge guide – Second Step – Unlock the Forge

After obtaining the Stolen Black Armory Gear, you need to speak with Ada-1 in the Tower. She will assign you next quest. You will be required to kill more Fallen enemies with Precision Kills only and collect a total of 35 Tainted Gears.

After you have completed the quest, you need to go to The Tangled Shore and interact with Spider. You will be assigned next step titled as Needle in the Tangled Shore. This alone comes in two parts completion. You need to an Heroic Event titled Cryo-Pod located at Thieveds Landing and defeat a total of 75 Fallen enemies using melee.

Once you have completed both parts, you need to head back and interact with Spider again. You will then be assigned another quest titled Scourge of the Armory located in Winding Cove.

The next step in unlocking the forge is a tad bit problematic mainly due to varying spawn times from one person to the other. The next quest in pipeline is titled as Sivik’s Delivery Note located in Nessus. Keep a close eye to Fallen Captains, mostly who are named captains or captains with yellow bar targets. They can easily be found also in public events or close to Exodus Black.

A quest market will appear then that will guide you to a Lost Sector on Nessus. You will be required to reach the marker and kill a boss to scan a particular gear. After you are done with it, you are required to go Artefact’s Edge. Once you are there, look for a damaged ship on the ground, you need to reach it and find a square sized looking entrance. The Gofannon Forge lies on the other side on the entrance.

After finding the location, you need to report back to Ada-1, she will task you with another quest line titled as Basic Sniper Rifle Frame quest. Once you start following the quest, it will lead you to reigniting the Gofannon Forge.

Destiny 2 Black Armory Gofannon Forge guide – Third Step – Reignite the Forge

Now that you have located the Forge and are tasked with the Basic Sniper Rifle Frame quest, you need to complete some other steps before going after the Forge.

You need to go to Nessus and find Weapon Core and 25 Compound Ether. Next, you need to achieve a total of 25 Precision Kills using a Sniper Rifle along with 5 powerful enemy kills. After this, you will be tasked to complete 10 multikills using a Sniper Rifle, this is where things get tough and finally you must collect a total of 20 Raidant Seeds.

After completing all the requirements mentioned above, you need to go to Tower and interact with Ada-1. You will receive the Radiant Sniper Rifle Frame.

Now, all you are left with is to revisit the Gofannon Forge and ignite it. Once it is reignited, you will receive a Sniper rifle titled Tatara Gaze.
