Bungie Banning Several Cheaters in Destiny 2, Wants To Keep It Clean

Destiny 2 Cheaters

Bungie is currently on a roll in banning a lot of cheaters from Destiny 2. The developer has strongly made their intentions clear by announcing that they do not want any cheaters plaguing the community and want to keep it clean.

In a tweet by Bungie itself, the company stated that its security team has been busy banning a lot of players that use cheats to enhance their gaming and to have an unfair advantage over other players. These cheats include aimbots that allow cheaters to target players accurately, and spoiling the fun of the game.

Our Security Team has taken action today and issued a wave of bans targeted at players attempting to use aiming cheat tools. Keep it clean.

It is certainly welcoming news that Bungie is serious in this matter of taking out the cheaters in the game. Especially since its Shadowkeep expansion has just released this week. The developers also released a new free-to-play shooter called New Light along with Shadowkeep as well. Many of the fans were highly anticipating the big content update that came with the expansion, which makes the whole experience without cheaters a lot of fun.

The release of Shadowkeep was not as smooth as expected as some issues were raised post-release. The game servers were down for many hours as the developers were busy fixing some early issues of the expansion. The issues were resolved and no further complaints have been reported so far.

If you haven’t played Shadowkeep, there is a ton of new content in the expansion, that sees the addition of new weapons, missions gear and lots more. The developers have also included Ritual weapons that make it easier for players to obtain them as they complete certain missions in the game.
