Capcom has just confirmed the release date for Devil May Cry for the Nintendo Switch. The game company had previously announced the game for the portable console last month in May.
Devil May Cry will release on 24 June, and 27 June in Japan. The Switch eShop has already displayed the file size as 9.2 GB, and the cost of the game to be $19.99. the store also details that the game would be available in different languages as well.
The release of the game would be a fantastic way for new players to try the original game in the series. the game will feature Dante and his story as a private investigator of the supernatural. Players will have to help Dante find clues that the devil is rallying to rise up again against mankind.
The first appearance of Dante, the ultimate devil hunter! With the blood of a legendary demon warrior flowing through his veins, Dante takes on a mission from the mysterious Trish to travel to Mallet Island and defeat Mundus, the king of the underworld. But this is no ordinary job for Dante, who is also motivated by revenge…
Use your sword and dual guns to pull off flashy combos in this classic title which introduced the “stylish action” genre to the world.
By Dante’s demon blood, you enter this dark realm of demonic marionettes, unearthly phantoms, grim reapers, and other wretched souls. Transform to a demon state to inflict devastating attacks on enemies in this gothic battle of good against evil.
The first Devil May Cry was released back in 2001 for the PlayStation 2. The series got ever popular when it brought the second and third titles over the years. The series also brought in a collection of Devil May Cry 2 and 3 that released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A Nintendo release is surely welcome and would be interesting to see what the game would look like on the portable console.
