Digital Dragons, the biggest B2B game industry conference in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced the nominees for its upcoming Digital Dragons Awards. These nominees in each category were selected by over 160 people representing development studios, media, and industry organizations. Among these nominees, you will find some of the biggest titles released last year including Ghostrunner, Hades, The Last of Us Part II, and Ghost of Tsushima.
For 2021, the Digital Dragons Awards are distributed in six categories including Best Polish Game, Best Polish Game Design, Best Polish Game Art, Best Polish Mobile Game and Best Polish Game Original Soundtrack, and Best Foreign Game. Among these categories, Ghostrunner by One More Level, Shing! by Mass Creation, and 112 Operator created by Jutsu Games managed to secure four nominations.
CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 and Carrion by Phobia Game Studio each secured three nominations as well. Titles selected in the Best Polish Game of 2020 include the controversial Cyberpunk 2020 as well which is broken to this date however it was still added to the list. Other titles include Ghostrunner, 112 Operator, Shing! and Carrion. Below, we have detailed the full list of nominees for the event.

The winners of each category will be selected by a jury consisting of representative of Polish gaming media and people currently actively working in the gaming industry. The jury consists of: Łukasz Gołąbiowski (Onet Technologie, Komputer Świat), Mateusz Witczak (PolskiGamedev.pl), Paweł Węgrzyn (Jagiellonian University), Krystian Smoszna (GRY-Online.pl), Tomasz Drabik (Quaz), Mariusz Borkowski (Gamemusic.pl), Michał Król (Graczpospolita.pl, PSX Extreme), Grzegorz Bobrek (TVGRY), Jakub Karaś (Pan Kubaka), Roger Żochowski (PSX Extreme.
Digital Dragons Awards are taking place on September 7-9 online and offline during the third day. The winners will be announced during the gala which is a regular event of the conference. Apart from the awards show, the Digital Dragons event will also host various lectures and discussion panels which will be based on important topics from the video game industry. The panels and lectures are free however the ticket sales for the B2B aspect will go live in August. Earlier this year, Hello Neighbor 2 won the Digital Dragons Indie Celebration 2021. The Digital Dragons Business Meet Up Free Matchmaking Event was held in May as well.
