Doom Eternal Will Have 18-22 Hours Story Mode Gameplay

Doom Eternal Gameplay

Bethesda’s upcoming first-person shooter Doom Eternal will feature around 18-22 hours of gameplay in its story mode campaign. This detail comes along with the new official trailer of the game that Google showed at its Stadia Connect presentation.

Although the new trailer was brief, it gave us enough insight as to what the players will be up against and how the environment will pose the challenges of traversing. Take a look at the official trailer below:

A report made in the Escapist Magazine stated that Doom Eternal will offer 18-22 hours of gameplay.

Id Software’s executive producer Marty Stratton talked with QconForums.com at QuakeCon about Doom Eternal and how long players can expect the game’s campaign to last. He says that, while there is still some work to do, the game should take somewhere from 18 to 22 hours to complete.

Last month, Bethesda showed off the gameplay and its multiplayer mode at the QuakeCon event. The first trailer featured a boss fight with a nasty demon with a chainsaw for one arm, while the other had a projectile shooting cannon. The whole demon can be seen hovering on a small platform affixed with some sort of jet, allowing it to move around quickly.

On the other hand, the game multiplayer option Battlemode was also featured in the keynote. Bethesda showed off many of its features including the variety of unique demons that it will contain. Bethesda adds that fighting each demon would be different as they are all unique in their own ways and combat. There is a learning curve to it, but it is not overly complicated or something that the players will have an issue with.
