Microsoft has announced that the original Crackdown is available free to all players in celebration of upcoming Crackdown 3. Players who want to jump in the game can head to the Xbox Marketplace right now and download the game for no extra charges.
Crackdown 3 is hardly a week away and is one of the most anticipated Microsoft exclusives for 2019. Crackdown 3 is finally releasing this month after many delays and wait. Fans were sure that the game might not even release this month but it seems like we are finally getting Crackdown 3 in hardly a month.
The original Crackdown was released back in 2007 on Xbox 360 and it was an instant hit. It was one of the best Xbox exclusives back then and it featured some solid gameplay. It is an open-world action adventure game which features a lot of explosions.

In Crackdown, you take control of a biologically enhanced Agent who is set to cleanse the city of Pacific from all crime and in attempt to do so, must eliminate three of the biggest crime lords currently operating in the city. Since Crackdown is open-world, players are free to explore the city and decide how they want to approach with the main game.
Players can play Crackdown on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One with Backwards Compatibility. All they need to do is sign in their IDs, head to the Marketplace and click download to begin the installation of this amazing game.
