Below we have detailed how you can get the Ultimate Key in the game.

How to Get Ultimate Key

As mentioned before, you first need to finish the game. After your done with the main story, you now have to make your way to the island of Heaven Above. To do that, you need to go to Luminary’s Landing and play your flute at the white area with pillars. You will transform and can fly towards the Heaven Above Island that is floating in the sky.

Once you reach the Heaven Above island, take the first flight of stairs leading up to the main area. Turn right before, just before the second flight of stairs. Cross the bridge, and run all the way to the north, or the backside of this island. You will reach a white platform that you can stand on. This will take you to the other part of the island.

When you reach the new island, immediately turn left and take that path that is leading up the twisty hill. Once you reach here, a cutscene will appear. After the cutscene, you will find a red chest that will contain the Ultimate Key for you to collect. And that’s it. This is how you get the Ultimate Key in Dragon Quest XI.
