Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scroll online will be getting the newest expansion in the game; Elsweyr. In this expansion players will taken to Elsweyr for the first time since The Elder Scrolls: Arena back in 1994. the expansion launches on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 4 June 2019.
Elsweyr will the latest expansion and part of a four part story arc that will include dragons in this fantasy online multiplayer game. the story is set in the land of Elsweyr that is home to the Khaljit cat people, while the gameplay promises 30 hours of the adventure in the expansion.
The Dragons have returned to Tamriel. Unleashed upon the world by the unwitting Abnur Tharn and the Imperial usurper queen Euraxia, the great Kaalgrontiid and his followers hunt from the skies and threaten to burn down the ancestral home of the Khajiit.
The last chapter; Summerset also game with a good chunk of playtime, feeling like a whole game on its own. So with Elsweyr, we can safely say that it will come with a lot of content for players online. The content also includes dragons that payers will have to deal with. A great dragon called Kaaldrontiid and his companions want to turn the Khaljit people to ash with fire.
In the latest expansion, players are tasked with defending the Khaljit people from Kaalgrontiid. The challenging part is that there is no dragonborn so you cannot expect to fight with dragon special abilities, rather swords and shields.
For people just starting with The Elder Scrolls Online, Elsweyr can be played from the beginning by new players without any need to jump into older content. Meanwhile existing players can start fresh in the new expansion and play as a Necromancer.
Elsweyr is packed with new stories, adventures, and challenges, including:
