Developer Black Salt Games and publisher Team17 Digital have officially launched The Iron Rig, the second expansion for their fishing adventure game DREDGE. This new content adds even more depth to the game’s eerie and enigmatic world, providing a fresh experience for both newcomers and experienced you alike. At the same time, the Complete Edition of DREDGE has also been released, offering the base game along with all existing expansions: Blackstone Key, The Pale Reach, and The Iron Rig, creating the ultimate collection for fans of the game.

The latest expansion introduces you to the challenges of dealing with a sinister ‘Dark Liquid’ that threatens the area. As you work with the Ironhaven Corporation, they gather essential resources and contribute to the expansion of the Iron Rig—a massive structure that brings new opportunities and dangers. Each enhancement to the Iron Rig opens up unique rewards but also comes with unforeseen and potentially malevolent consequences. With over 50 new fish species to catch and new characters and hazards, The Iron Rig promises an exciting adventure at any point in the player’s journey through the game.
For those diving into the world of DREDGE for the first time, the Complete Edition provides a comprehensive experience, allowing you to explore the mysterious and captivating waters with all the content included. Priced at $11.99 for The Iron Rig expansion and $39.99 for the Complete Edition, you can choose how you want to embark on the adventure. Additionally, a Collector’s Edition of DREDGE will be released later this year in the USA, Europe, and Australasia, priced at $99.99, featuring exclusive physical and digital content.
DREDGE is currently out on PC via Steam and GOG along with Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox.
