Indie developer and publisher Prof. Dr. Christoph Minnameier has unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming title Dungeons of Dreadrock 2: The Dead King’s Secret at gamescom 2024. Dungeons of Dreadrock 2: The Dead King’s Secret is Part 2 of the Dreadrock Trilogy and will continue the story through the ancient cavern parts of Dreadrock Mountain. This sequel is promising brand-new 100 levels of puzzles complete with a story and deeper character exploration.

The new trailer drops at a time when Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 is present at gamescom 2024 where it is nominated for the Mobile Marvels category at the devcom Indie Awards and also in the mobile category nomination at gamescom Awards 2024. The sequel will feature a brand-new protagonist, and larger levels with plenty of new enemies, environments, and characters. You will get to experience different endings which will be unlocked based on your choices made throughout the story.
At this point, the developer has not revealed much about the upcoming title and its Steam page does not reveal any additional details as well. It is aiming for a 2024 release according to the press release sent to us by the developer however there is no wording of any additional release window, but our guess is a holiday 2024 release for it.
