Dysterra Roadmap Reveals New Content Dropping Every Month

Publisher Kakao Games and developer Reality MagiQ have revealed the detailed roadmap for their latest release Dysterra, and it promises monthly content drops. The game was released in Early Access last year in November and since then, the developers have been working on the title to bring new content to it. The latest roadmap shared shows the resolve of Reality MagiQ to bring even more content to the game throughout this year.

Dysterra is a survival shooter, and the developer is working to add new content to the game along with bug fixes as well. Since its release in November, different updates were released for bug fixes, optimizing performance, and improving in-game balancing, while listening closely to fan feedback for future updates and content drops. The developer is promising in the latest roadmap that players can expect quality-of-life features such as emotes, chat enhancement, and ping system improvements in the next two months.

Future updates for Dysterra will focus more on expanding the universe with brand-new content such as:

  • New Content – New Dysterra content will be added regularly throughout 2023. Players will have more gameplay elements to experiment with thanks to new events, resources, items, and NPCs. These will also help expand the game’s backstory and world-building.
  • New Weapons and Items – A variety of weapons and supplemental items will also be introduced every month. New guns and auxiliary items will increase the number of loadout options possible, allowing for more varied playstyles and combat scenarios.
  • Housing Features and Decorations – Something you cannot miss in a survival-genre game is housing. New decorations and housing features will allow players to further customize their Dysterra base for better comfort and protection.
  • Clans and Vehicles – Responding to player feedback, the developers will add a Clan system to Dysterra in a future update. This will enable larger scale team fights between players as they battle over territories and servers. There will also be more ways to navigate Dysterra’s dynamic in-game worlds thanks to the arrival of new vehicles. The studio has some exciting new vehicle designs planned, complete with mounted weaponry and improved attack capabilities.

Dysterra takes place on a destroyed future Earth where the discovery of TerraSite has allowed humankind to rapidly progress but as a result of this, the home planet now faces extinction. To survive in the world of Dysterra, you will need to secure food, and gear and seek shelter apart from forging weapons, armor, and potential alliances with other players as well. Dysterra is now available in early access on Steam where the game is currently sitting on ‘Mixed’ reviews however the developer is promising updates and new content in the next two months. The game’s betas go all the way back to 2021 and it shows that the game has been in development for quite some time.
