EA and LaLiga have announced that they have renewed their exclusivity partnership for another 10 years giving EA FIFA fans unrivaled authenticity for the next 10 years. As part of the newly renewed partnership, EA Sports will remain the exclusive Official Video Games partner of LaLiga as the two organizations will expand their efforts to create world-leading football entertainment.
The announcement of the renewal of exclusive partnership could not have come at a better time when the world is playing FIFA 20 more than ever making it the most-played game in the entire franchise on PC and consoles. There is a 10% increase in unique players every year and daily active players in the game have also reached a brand new all-time engagement high. Twitch reports that fans have watched over 12 billion minutes of FIFA 20 content on its platform ever since the release of the game. This is equivalent to more than 133 million traditional matches.
