ASUS and EK have partnered up to release a lineup of GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards with pre-installed water blocks. The partnered lineup includes NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3090, GeForce RTX 3080, and the GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cards.
EKWB has released a press statement confirming its collaboration with ASUS by saying:
EK®, the leading computer cooling solutions provider, is proud to announce its latest collaboration with ASUS®, the leading graphics card and motherboard manufacturer. The result is three GeForce® RTX™ 30 Series graphics cards with a pre-installed full-cover EK water block. A match made in heaven for enthusiasts, demanding content creators, and gamers. This strategic collaboration between ASUS and EK brings new GPUs that emphasize minimalistic, robust design, DIY convenience, and high performance.
The ASUS EKWB RTX 3090 and 3080 cards will be launching in November and feature custom-designed PCBs made using ASUS’s Auto-Extreme technology. ASUS will be including an all-aluminum backplate to prevent PCB flex. The cards will feature a single-slot design with the I/O mounting bracket made of 304 stainless steel to prevent it from corroding.

All three graphics cards part of the partnership will come with pre-installed water blocks featuring EK’s classic design and integrated addressable D-RGB Aura Sync ready LEDs. The water block base plate is made of CNC-machined out of the purest electrolytic copper with nickel-plating. The front of the water block is acrylic and has been CNC-machined out.
EK has assured that the ASUS EKWB GeForce RTX 3000 series graphics cards feature optimized flow paths that reduce hydrodynamic instabilities and vortexes inside the block to ensure great cooling. EK has also implemented its Open Split-Flow cooling engine which assures low hydraulic flow restriction which allows it to be used with weaker pumps or pumps that operate at lower speeds.
EK is also planning to bring special Black Nickel Edition EK classic liquid cooling kits for users who want to try out liquid cooling themselves. The liquid cooling kits with be featuring all-black-Nickel finish fittings and a wide range of other accessories that are essential to building a custom loop setup. The kits will be available in four flavors starting with the S240, S360, P240, and P360.
As far as availability of the Graphics cards is concerned, the ASUS EKWB GeForce RTX 3090 & RTX 3080 is expected in November while the ASUS EKWB GeForce RTX 3070 will be available by the end of November. Currently, there is no word on the pricing of the cards.
