EK Water Blocks RTX 3000

It is reported than EK is planning to release water blocks for the RTX 3000 series as soon as the release day of the cards. NVIDIA is currently running a campaign and is getting ready for a grand launch in September with the unveiling of the next-gen GeForce RTX 3000 Series graphics cards. Many partners are taking part in this campaign, one of which is EK.

The Slovenian water block manufacturer is participating in NVIDIA’s #UltimateCountdown marketing campaign. And it EK says that it is trying to launch the water blocks for the new 3000 series card on the launch day or close to it.

The confirmation comes from EK’s Facebook page where a company rep replied to a user asking about the availability of RTX 30 series water blocks in the comments of a post.

This shows that EK has been working with NVIDIA to make the new water blocks for the 3000 series RTX cards. According to sources, NVIDIA has provided final PCB schematics to vendors a while ago so that they can ready their custom PCB designs and cooling solutions based on that. Looks like EK was part of the vendors NVIDIA shared schematics with and it is probable that the founder’s edition will be the first version to receive water blocks from EK.

NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards will come in both reference Founders Edition flavors and custom variants. The Founders Edition board however is kept as the reference layout by water block manufacturers and as such, the Founders Edition card will receive the first solutions from EK.

Currently, EK GPU blocks are available in the price range of 130 to 160 Euro for the RTX 2000 series cards. It will be interesting to see what the prices of the 3000 series water blocks will be. The Water Blocks for RTX 3000 series will be released closer to the launch of the GPU series itself.
