The fourth and final free installment for Elite Dangerous Beyond is coming out next week. This update is part of the current running season and will be free for all PC, PS4 and Xbox One Players.

Elite Dangerous launched back in 2014 and is currently running Season 3 Beyond. The latest season of Elite Dangerous introduces many new features to the game such as new banner features, making the game better and introducing many gameplay improvements.
The previous seasons focused more on expanding the game and exploration aspect while the Season 3 is all about making the game better. A lot of new ships have been added to the game since it has been launched. Along with ships, the game received tons of upgrades to Engineering, visual upgrades and much more.
With Chapter 4’s announcement, Frontier Developments is saying that this is going to be the biggest update for the game that has been released this year. With the new update, two brand new ships Mamba and Krait Phantom will be added to the game. Along with these new ships, new exploration features will also be added to the game.
A new set of advanced mining tools are also making their way to the game. Apart from this, the game is also going to get cockpit improvements, a lot of visual enhancements and a new lightning engine. New multiplayer Squadrons are also being added to the game. With all these new features and updates combined, this is indeed going to be the biggest update ever released for Elite Dangerous.
The release date for the Chapter 4 update is December 11 and it will be free for all PS4, Xbox One and PC players. Also this is the final free update for the game which means that all future content updates will come in the form of paid DLCs or expansions.
