Enemy of the State

According to the game’s developer Brave Lamb Studio and publisher Movie Games, the recently announced top-down shooter game Enemy of the State will feature deep combat with customizable weapons and a cover system.

The game received a cinematic trailer earlier this month, giving us a new look at the co-op shooter from the creators of War Hospital

Watch the trailer below:

Enemy of the State is a co-op and single-player top-down shooter set in the world of 1920s crime lords. You’re an aspiring mobster trying to reach the top during the Prohibition era. Gather your friends and perform heists all over the world. Will you build the most powerful crime syndicate in the world?

The game puts you into the shoes of a low-level criminal, with ethnicity of your choice, aspiring to be the true mafia boss. Recruit and gather your gang to perform all kinds of underworld crime jobs worldwide. From heists to taking over territories, to kidnappings and assassinations, your goal is to grow with money, power, and respect.

When you begin the story, the game will give you the choice to set your class, customize your mobster, and then head out to conquer the world. Your mobster’s background can be American, African-American, Irish, Japanese, or Chinese. As you get better and grow stronger in power, you will unlock more perks, cosmetics, and outfits to customize your character.

Moving on to the weapons, as no underworld mafia business is complete without the classic guns that gangs have always been associated with, especially from the old days. You will have access to weapons like Tommyguns, shotguns, revolvers, pistols, dynamite sticks, and more iconic weapons. You can also bring along obscure historical weapons from Japan or Chine to spice things up.

Enemy of the State is going to launch on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox in mid-2024. Post your comments below.
