Epic Games Teases Fortnitemares Halloween Event for Fortnite

With Halloween just around the corner, Epic Games has teased a new event that is coming to Fortnite and its called Fortnitemares. Based on the little teaser, it looks like new skins and game modes are coming in the event.

In a tweet by FortniteGame, a vague description for the event has been given which hints a co-op game mode that will be for duos of squads. Another unusual event that is happening currently in the map is that the floating island is back to its original place, hovering over Leaky Lake, but seems to be anchored by a beam of light from the sky. Whether this has to do something with the Halloween even t is yet to be confirmed.

The first tweet shows a zombie cowboy wearing a hat, which may be hinting at the duos game mode coming in the event, followed by another tweet yesterday which is more cryptic, and hinting that the ground is going to be moving a lot.

“The Circle will close” can mean anything at the moment. From the small circle on top of the floating island to the storm circle that is usually part of Fortnite battle royale. At this point, it is anyone guess what is coming next week with this Halloween Event. However, a big reveal is likely going to happen this week, so we might get another teasing tweet or additional information for Fortnitemares event.
