Mystery Adventure Game Evan’s Remains Gets a Release Date, Demo Live on Steam

Evans Remains Release

Whitethorn Digital has announced that its upcoming mystery adventure puzzle game Evan’s Remains will release on June 11, 2020. The title will launch on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One simultaneously for $6.99.

Evan’s Remains is a mystery adventure in which you play as Dysis who is trying to find a missing boy Evan. It combines together logic-based platform puzzles with a narrative inspired by Japanese graphic adventure games. You can head over to the Steam page of Evan’s Remains to add the game to your Wishlist.

Lead developer Matias Schmied comments:

Evan’s Remains tries to convey a strong feeling of mystery and to leave the player wondering — just what is really going on here. Like its inspirations – Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick, Danganronpa, Yume Nikki, and many others – we hope players will feel a profound sense of satisfaction as they slowly piece together the narrative.

The game features pixel-graphics and puzzles that can only be solved by using deduction over dexterity or skill. There are no complex mechanics involved in the game and puzzle-solving. You can complete each puzzle at your pace since there are no failures, no enemies and no Game Over in the game.

While solving the puzzles, you progress in the main story of the game and get to know more about the strange place you are present in and also about what happened to Evan. You meet with new characters along the way and get to know their stories as well which adds more immersion to the overall narrative of the game.

The demo of Evan’s Remains is now live on Steam and you can head over there to play a slice of Evan’s Remains before the full game releases later this summer. You can also join the official Discord server of the game and get in touch with the developer of Evan’s Remains.
