Indie developer Pathea Games has announced the release date of its upcoming adventure puzzle game Ever Forward. The game is slated for release on August 13, 2020, on Steam for $14.99. Full versions for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One are also in the pipeline and will be released later in Winter 2020. Pathea Games is well known for its previous release My Time at Portia which was critically acclaimed upon its release.
The release date for Ever Forward was announced with a brand-new trailer that showcases brand-new footage from the game along with its release date. Ever Forward features the story of a young girl Maya who is caught between realities. One is filled with idyllic fields and coastal retreats while the other one is filled with a harsh, geometric world filled with traps and puzzles.
You play as Maya and help guide her through these places on a journey of self-discovery and reflection. Together, both of them will unlock Maya’s memories and find the secrets that lie dormant in her. Check out the new trailer for Ever Forward below:

Players will feel deeply challenged and motivated to solve each puzzle, and some puzzles even have multiple solutions, catered to different kinds of thinkers and logical processes.
- Art – A color pallet of soothing pastels and futuristic tones designed to simulate the absurd nature of the dream world.
- Adventure – Players can collect fragments of memories in the world to unlock new areas and new puzzles.
