The upcoming third-person action-adventure game Evil West by Flying Wild Hog and Focus Entertainment has received a brand-new gameplay overview trailer. The latest action-packed trailer is almost 5 minutes long and goes over what you can expect from Evil West when it launches later this month on PC and consoles. Evil West is set in the vampire-infested American frontier where you must rise up to become a Wild West superhero and eradicate the vampire threat completely. Evil West features an explosive campaign featuring a twisted vision of the Old West where beasts and bloodthirsty creatures hide in the corner. The campaign of the game can be played solo or with a friend if you want some more action during the campaign. The main protagonist of the game is Jesse Rentier who is a vampire hunter, raised by his father William in the ancient Rentier Institute.
After an incident at the Rentier Institute, all hell breaks loose, and you are tasked with the elimination of the vampire threat. During the campaign, you will explore every corner of the Wild West ranging from vast oil fields to infested mines and huge canyons to shadowy ghost towns. During your travels, you will encounter new people who will either become your friends and make you stronger against your fight with the supernatural or they will become just more of your enemies. For defeating the supernatural hordes, you will have a variety of tools at your disposal that will allow you to defeat your enemies with style.
Rebuilding the Rentier Institute will allow you to unlock new weapons and equipment which will come in handy during your fights. You will have a wide variety of weapons to choose from such as your trusty revolver, rifles for more accurate shooting, and the sawed-off shotgun for dealing massive close-range damage to your enemies. If that does not give you enough satisfaction, you can use Rentier Institute’s latest invention, the Rentier Gauntlet which is a lightning-powered punch, and you can use it to smack the living force out of your enemies with a single punch. Apart from the weapons, you can also invest in different upgrades to make yourself even more effective in combat.
Evil West is coming out on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC on November 22, 2022.
