Publisher Assemble Entertainment and newly formed German studio BUNTSPECHT.GAMES have announced their new title Fall of Porcupine. Fall of Porcupine is a unique title that is a love letter to wholesome indie adventures and the hardships faced by healthcare workers. Fall of Porcupine deals with difficult subject matters and doubles down on the importance of friendship. The game tells an emotional story from the perspective of a fledgling doctor in a beautifully illustrated world. Finley is a new face in the town of Porcupine, and you must guide him through his first weeks of medical residency. The town of Porcupine may look like a quaint, friendly place at first glance where everyone warmly meets and greets each other however not everyone is as honest as they seem to be.
Apart from the dishonest people, Finley will also be confronted with different dilemmas in various situations that make balancing their work life and personal life extremely hard. This reflects the unhealthy and systemic issues in the healthcare industry in the real world. The game will feature different mini-games, sleek platforming, and branching dialogue choices as it delivers a heartfelt and spirited story of friendship, self-sacrifice, and self-love.
