Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco have just released the gameplay trailer of their upcoming title Fast and Furious Crossroads. The companies also announced the release date of the game on August 7, 2020.
While the story of the game will be completely new from the movie series, it is still set in the timeline between The Fate of the Furious and The Furious 9. The game was originally going to launch in May alongside the Furious 9, but both the movie and the game were delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Take a look at the trailer below:
Slightly Mad Studios is best known for its Project Cars racing simulation game series, which suggests that the game would be just as exciting as you can expect it to be. Starting with the action-filled cinematic styles that we are familiar with the movies. In addition to driving fast iconic cars from the Fast and Furious series, you have gadgets to mix in the action to complete dangerous heists and missions.
The new single-player story of the game will feature many of the original actors from the movie series, include Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Asia Kate Dillon.

The developers also intend to show off a new three-way multiplayer mode of the game, which will be done sometime in the near future or next month. If not for the delay, we could have been playing the game right now for it was originally planned for a May release. Either way, this year has seen many delays in events and game releases, so it does not come as a surprise.
Fast and Furious Crossroads is set to release on August 7 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Post your comments below and let us know what you think of the new trailer.
