Bungie has announced that the spooky Festival of the Lost has returned to Destiny 2 and will be free for all players. The free event is now live in the game, and it will run until November 2, 2021. Festival of the Lost will bring dinosaur-themed gear, Haunted Sectors, new rewards, and much more to the game.

Three new tales in the form of Haunted Sectors are now live in Destiny 2 and players can jump in them right away. Players will find Headless creatures stalking the dark crevasses of the Moon, a Guardian being hunted on Nessus and the shocking result of a Vex Mind and an Exo merging into something new and terrifying.
Everyone who participates in the event will be able to unlock the new Exotic Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle, cruise around in an Exotic Sparrow and unlock tons of more rewards during the Festival of the Lost. Eva will also offer the Bump in the Night Emblem to Guardians haunting the Haunted Sectors so there is a something to unlock for everything in the game. Plenty of dinosaur-inspired ornament sets are also now available in the Eververse store.
Festival of the Lost is part of the currently running Season of the Lost in Destiny 2. The season which started back on August 24, 2021, will continue to run until February 2022 and in the coming months, Bungie has additional free in-game events, Bungie 30th Anniversary celebration, and plenty more content on the horizon. Players can look forward to unlocking tons of new content and items in the upcoming events for their Guardians.
