This FIFA 21 Shooting Guide will show you all the ways you can effectively shoot at the goal. FIFA 21 comes with a complex shooting system that allows you to execute the move in multiple ways.
Shooting requires accuracy and timing for a perfect shot at goal. Depending on the type of shot you take, if your accuracy and timing are on par, you are most likely to score a goal. Let’s look at all the shots in the game, how to time your shots, and how they work.

Timed Shot Finishes
Timed Shots are one of the most difficult shots to learn but are the most rewarding shots on goal which are highly likely to end up in a successful goal. Timed Shots can be performed when your power bar is filled up enough to perform it.
The initial execution of a Timed Shot is pretty straightforward and requires you to just press the normal Shoot button (Circle). However, it is only when you press the shoot button at the right moment when the animation of the player is about to hit the ball that you will perform this shot. You might have to get used to it before understanding how the system works and how your timing matters for such an attack.
Chip Shot
Chip Shots are nothing new and have been a part of FIFA games since forever. Although they are pretty slow, their main purpose is to bypass the goalie who is getting close to attack you.
Chip Shots allow you to launch the ball over the head of the goalie, effectively playing a dummy on the goalie for a shot on goal. However, timing is again of utmost importance here. If you execute a chip shot too late, the goalie will be too near and easily grab the ball. Too early and the goalie will have enough time to turn around and run to grab the ball.
Finesse Shot
Finesse Shots are also one of the shooting mechanics in the game which are nothing new. These shots are pretty much a guaranteed goal, especially, if your striker is a high rated player.
Once again, timing and accuracy matter for the Finesse Shot, while there is nothing additional you need to do other than press R1 and the normal shoot button. Finesse Shots also work best if you don’t overshoot the ball or hit with an underpowered attack. Make sure you at least reach half of the shooting power when executing a Finesse Shot.
