Techland is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its post-apocalyptic open-world action survival game Dying Light which came out five years ago. Since the release of Dying Light, Techland has been busy treating its community by providing continuous support to the game including The Following expansion, many smaller DLCs, and different in-game events even now.
Techland says that it has a lot planned for the Dying Light anniversary celebrations for the month of February. To kick off the celebrations, the developer is giving away a free copy of its Brutal Royale title Dying Light: Bad Blood on PC to all current and future owners of Dying Light across all platforms. This means that no matter where you play Dying Light, you are eligible for a free copy of Dying Light: Bad Blood.
Pawel Marchewka, CEO at Techland says:
With five years behind us, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the support, feedback, and faith you keep on giving us. We really couldn’t have hoped for a better community. You have been and, continue to be, an incredible source of inspiration and joy. We assure you, even though we are working hard on Dying Light 2, our support of the original Dying Light will continue. There’s nothing more valuable to us than seeing a positive response from our fans. It’s humbling, it gives us perspective, and purpose to keep on going. Thank you again from the whole team!
Techland is also starting a new, bring a friend, affiliate program. This affiliate program will allow players to bring their friends into the Dying Light community and both of them will receive a free gold-tier weapon docket.
