This guide will show you how to get the Final Word weapon in Fallout 76 Wastelanders. This legendary weapon is really powerful against heavier enemies, as its 50 cal armor-piercing bullets and high rate of fire can melt enemies instantly.
The Final Word is a Level 45 weapon that has a fire rate of 114 and base damage of 118. On the other hand, it is a heavy machine gun that takes time to reload. However, the gun comes with the 250 Damage Resistance perk while reloading. So it more than makes up for the time lost while reloading it.
The Final Word works great if you use it while in a Power Armor, have the intelligence to a maximum, and have the stabilized perk equipped on it. This will drastically reduce bullet spread and give you more armor penetration and hip-fire accuracy.
How to Get the Final Word Weapon in Fallout 76 Wastelanders
To get the Final Word legendary weapon, you first have to make your way to Ash Heap, where you will get the Ally Narrow Escape quest, where you have to rescue Beckett. The whole purpose of saving Beckett is for him to join your camp, however, he will first want you to build a bar at the camp where he can move to.
After building the bar with the materials required, Beckett will join your camp and will be available at the bar you just built. From here, you need to talk to Beckett and complete 12 quests. These quests are mostly to clear out enemies but are also to collect items for Beckett. After completing the quests, Beckett will hand you over the Watauga Underground key.
When you get to Watauga Underground, you need to open the garage door from the inside. This can be done with the terminal located inside Watauga Underground. Make your way inside until you reach the terminal and use it to open the garage door. This will open up a new path with the rail tracks. Follow this path and continue straight until you find a lot of enemies that you need to beat.
The next task here is to talk to The Claw and convince Beckett not to kill him. Return to the base and talk to Beckett who will give you the Final Word weapon.
