Flying Creatures Could Be Coming to Apex Legends

Apex Legends Characters

Apex Legends just received its first season along with a Battle Pass but it appears that we have some fresh leaks for the game as well. The latest leaks are the best one so far because if these are true, we might be getting flying creatures similar to dragons in Apex Legends.

Yes, you read that right. The new leaks suggest that flying creatures could be coming to Apex legends. The latest leak also comes from within the game files where dataminers have found files which have the name ‘FlyerSwarm’ alongside an image. This file was added to the game after the new update and it only leads to the speculation that some sort of flying creatures may be coming to the title.

Respawn recently released the Battle Pass and fans did not seem to like it too much however Respawn ensured the fans that there is more to come to the game in future. This recent leak could be one of the things which Respawn has hidden in the game code and not revealed at the moment. The image below shows us what is hidden inside Apex Legends code.

If you go back to Titanfall 2, Flyers were flying creatures in the game so if they come to Apex Legends, they won’t be a new thing for the franchise and the developers. You can already see some far off flying creatures in Apex Legends but the ones shown in the video above are much closer and they might be mountable if they come out.

They might even be a special weapon or ability where you would throw something that will attract these winged creatures to the location or something like that. There is no official response on this or any confirmed news whether such a thing will ever happen in the game. These are just data mining leaks so they must not be considered official at this point.

Respawn and EA recently released Apex Legends’ first season called Wild Frontier. Check out the details of the battle pass and what you can earn with it. The new season also brings a brand new hero Octane to the title.

Apex Legends is now out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
