All In! Games has announced a major update for its challenging tactics game, Fort Triumph. The game which is developed by CookieByte Entertainment is getting a major update with a week-long promo to celebrate it.
The Fort Triumph update will bring in new locations, events, traits, and unique battle types. In addition, the update will also introduce features that make battles between heroes more balanced by reducing the advantage of the starting player. These changes are for the player vs AI battles.
Moreover, the player will now not always be the first to move in higher difficulty battles. Another change the update introduces is the possibility to add and remove traits. Heroes will be able to have up to three different traits, and trait-specific actions will appear as possible options depending on which traits your hero has.
If you are unaware of Fort Triumph, it is a challenging and fun fantasy-themed turn-based tactics game. It has been described as part XCOM, part Heroes of Might and Magic III, while adding unique tactical environmental interactions of its own. Explore the world, build towns, collect artifacts, improve your heroes, and influence your tactical surroundings using physics! Original in-game music was created by the award-winning composer Marco Valerio Antonini.
For players who are looking forward to a console version of the game, the release window for a console release has now been pushed to 2021. This is due to the global pandemic, while the developers insist that porting the game to other platforms is still a priority for them. When the game does launch, you can expect it on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
