Fans of Fortnite can now up their battle style with the new grenade item called Shockwave Grenade that was just added in the update today. This new item launches players great distances without inflicting fall damage. The blast is so strong, you can launch players through structures! Other than the grenade, the update also brought in a lot of stability improvements.
Fortnite Battle Royale is a free-to-play 100 player mode in Fortnite. The game has one large map where 100 random players drop in; collect resources, build forts, and fight to be the last man standing. Fortnite is currently in the middle of the fifth season and Epic has been adding a lot of items and new challenges to keep the game interesting and engaging.
Shockwave Grenade Details
You can use the Shockwave Grenade as a kind of rocket jump if you need to jump to somewhere quick. Or you can throw the grenade to knock the enemy away from you. The fact that it blasts through walls is also going to have some major implications for players in the last minutes of the game as players attempt to blast each other into the storm, or you can also blast yourself off a high structure without taking any fall damage. We can only expect players to get creative with the abilities that the Shockwave Grenade will provide.

SHOCKWAVE GRENADE ADDED:
- Shockwave Grenade will knock players back and destroy objects in their path after being knocked back.
- Allies, enemies, and vehicles hit with Shockwave Grenade will not take fall damage.
- Drops in stacks of 2, maximum stack size of 6.
- Epic Rarity.
- Can be found in Supply Drops, Vending Machines, Llamas, and chests.
Limited Time Mode: 50v50 Solid Gold

- Kunai Collection: Eliminating enemies with Kunai Storm reduces its cooldown by 2 seconds.
- Kunai Barrage: Increase the number of kunai thrown from Kunai Storm by 6 and damage by 25%.
- Kunnaihilation: Kunai will now randomly explode and deal Energy Damage in a 0.25 tile radius.
