This guide will show you how to complete the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 and its Week 9 challenges that have been introduced this season. Weekly seasons have been a big part of Fortnite ever since the existence of its Battle Pass.
Season 3 is no different as you get another Battle Pass with many tiers to progress and rewards to unlock. Of course, to help speed up the process of completing the Battle Pass, Epic Games has added the Weekly Challenges that are various tasks you have to complete in order to get your Season XP rewards.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Week 9 Challenges Guide
Below you will find all the challenges for Week 9, and how to complete them.
- Search 7 Chests at Pleasant Park
- 3 Eliminations at The Fortilla
- Gas up a Vehicle at Catty Corner
- Stoke 3 Campfires at Camp Cod
- Collect 200 Metal at Hydro 16
- Eliminate 7 Henchmen or Marauders
- Eliminate 10 Henchmen or Marauders
Challenge #1 – Search Chests at Pleasant Park
This is a simple task that requires you to open seven chests at Pleasant Park. The challenge is pretty simple and can be completed in multiple matches if you like to work at your own pace.
Challenge #2 – Eliminations at The Fortilla
This challenge requires you to get three kills at The Fortilla. Since the challenge is pretty new, you might be seeing a lot off players landing at this location to get their own kills. This means that you will have a lot of targets immediately after dropping here.
Challenge #3 – Gas up a Vehicle at Catty Corner
This is another challenge that can be tough this early in the week. Plenty of other players will be coming in to get their challenge completed, making them a target or in this case, you can be the target if you go to fill up the tank. Nonetheless, you have to go to the gas stating here and fill up the tank of a vehicle.
Challenge #4 – Stoke 3 Campfires at Camp Cod
This challenge requires you to stoke three campfires at Camp Cod. There are a handful of campfires here where you can go to complete the challenge. Just make sure you don’t let an opponent beat you to it.
Challenge #5 – Collect 200 Metal at Hydro 16
Hydro 16 is a location that can be found on the island that is on the far south of the map. Once you drop here, you need to start collecting metal here to complete the challenge. Gather 200 Metal to complete the challenge in no time.
Challenge #6 – Eliminate 7 Henchmen or Marauders
This challenge requires you to eliminate 7 Henchmen or Marauders to complete. Marauders spawn at random moments that can be at the starting of the game, or at the finishing stages of the match.
Challenge #7 – Eliminate 10 Henchmen or Marauders
This is a continuation of the previous challenge, where you just need to get 3 additional eliminations of either Henchmen or Marauders.
