This Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Week 1 Challenges Guide will show you how to complete the Week 1 challenges in the new season of Fortnite. Season 6 of Chapter 2 in Fortnite has just launched, and much like any other season, players can find weekly challenges to complete.
This season is no different as you get another Battle Pass with many tiers to progress and rewards to unlock. Of course, to help speed up the process of completing the Battle Pass, Epic Games has added the Weekly Challenges that are various tasks you have to complete in order to get your Season XP rewards.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Week 1 Challenges Guide
- Hunt Wildlife
- Craft Primal weapons using bones and Makeshift Weapons
- Craft a Hunter’s Cloak
- Talk to characters
- Collect Mechanical parts from vehicles, trailers, buses, or tractors
- Find Golden Artifacts near the Spire
- Craft Mechanical weapons using Mechanical parts and a Makeshift weapon
Challenge #1 – Hunt Wildlife
This season has added animals that you can hunt down primarily to collect bones from them. Animal Bones are needed to craft Primal Weapons in the game, which is why you will be spending most of your time looking to hunt them for bones to craft powerful weapons. Animals need to be hunted as they are not just sitting ducks all the time. They make noise and can be found near forests.
Challenge #2 – Craft Primal weapons using bones and Makeshift Weapons
This challenge is pretty much related to the first challenge which has you collecting animal bones after hunting animals. Primal Weapons can be made by using Animal bones that you collect after hunting and using it on the Makeshift weapons to transform them.
Challenge #3 – Craft a Hunter’s Cloak
Hunter’s Cloak is a new item that you can wear after crafting it with the required materials. This challenge is again tied to hunting animals this season as the materials required ate Animal Bones and Meat. Once you hunt animals, you can harvest these materials, you can easily craft your Hunter’s Cloak. The crafting of this item requires 2x Animal Bones and 1x Meat.
Challenge #4 – Talk to Characters
This is a pretty straightforward challenge where you have to converse with the NPCs found all around the map.
Challenge #5 – Collect Mechanical parts from vehicles, trailers, buses, or tractors
Mechanical Parts are materials that are used to craft Mechanical Weapons. The parts can be obtained from the said objects like vehicles, trailers, buses and tractors, which can then be used to make Mechanical weapons from Makeshift Weapons.
Challenge #6 – Find Golden Artifacts near the Spire
The Spire is the new main location on the map which is part of Season 6. This location will contain Golden Orbs that can be found in plain sight, while the challenge requires you to collect three of the Golden Orbs to complete it.
Challenge #7 – Craft Mechanical weapons using Mechanical parts and a Makeshift weapon
Much like Primary Weapons, Mechanical Weapons are new types of weapons that you can craft by using Mechanical parts. The challenge that requires you to get the Mechanical Parts is tied to this challenge, allowing you to use the parts to craft these weapons
