Epic Games has officially lifted the curtain on the Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7 called Invasion and as you might have guessed from the map changes and teasers, it is indeed about an alien invasion on the island. Along with the Story Trailer of Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7 Invasion, Epic Games has also announced that the Battle Stars are coming back for the new Battle Pass allowing players to choose what they want to unlock first in the Battle Pass for Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7.

The new season Invasion begins with an explosive alien invasion where an unknown alien invasion is invading the island under the command of Doctor Slone. The Imagine Order (IO) has taken things in their own hands under Doctor Slone. The fate of the island now lies in your hands as you team up with other players and push back the alien invasion. Suiting to the new alien invasion, the map is also changed representing the new invasion however details on that is not yet known.
With a new season, comes a new Battle Pass, and Chapter 2 – Season 7 is no different. Featuring tons of new rewards for you to unlock including new skins, Backblings, screens, and more. The fan-favorite Battle Stars are back and as you progress in the Battle Pass and earn more Battle Stars, you will be able to gain access to new Battle Pass pages filled with rewards. Depending on your choice, you can unlock your favorite rewards from unlocked pages first and go for least favorite ones later.
Looks like Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7 Invasion will not be low on third-party skins as well as it has revealed some of the best skins as Battle Pass rewards already. You have Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty along with Guggimon, Kymera, and Super Man to unlock with your Battle Pass this year. Each skin might come with other themed items such as gliders, melee tools, and skins as well however additional details are not known at this point.

New Weapons
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Invasion also adds four new alien weapons to the game at launch. These include the Kymera Ray Gun, Pulse Rifle, Recon Scanner and Rail Gun. - Kymera Ray Gun – The Kymera Ray Gun fires a continuous energy ray at your enemies. The enemies get 11 damage with each of its hits, and you have to reload it after emptying the current clip. It comes with a huge magazine size of 1000000. It has a fire rate of 15 and reload time of 2.
- Pulse Rifle – The Pulse Rifle allows you to use two firing modes depending on how you aim with it. If you are hip firing, it becomes a fully automated weapon however when aim down, it fires much slowly giving you more control over each of its shots. It deals 34 damage to players and has a 16 magazine size. It has a fire rate of 4.2 and a reload time of 2.8.
- Recon Scanner – The recon scanner is mostly a recon tool however it deals high damage to players as well if you manage to land a hit with them. Primarily, if you fire a bolt from the Recon Scanner, it will mark nearby chests and enemy players for you. However, landing a hit will result in a whopping 98 damage to players however it comes with a magazine size of just 2 and a fire rate of 3. Its reload time is relatively high as well at 3.6.
- Rail Gun – The final new weapon arriving in the game is the Rail Gun and is a high-power rifle that you have to charge first and then shoot at your enemies to deal damage. While it has a very small magazine of just 1 shot and you have to reload it after every shot, it deals a massive 85 damage to enemies, and it takes around 3 seconds to reload.
