Fortnite World Cup Concludes with ‘Bugha’ Claiming $3M Top Spot

Fortnite World Cup has concluded with the winners announced for both Solos and Duos competition. The main highlight of the event was the first position win in solos by 16-year old Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf who took home the $3M prize by owning the competition with 59 points. This was a huge lead over the second position where the total points racked up to only 33 points.

Bugha eliminated the top 5 players in a row at the end of the final match claiming the first prize for himself. The 16-year-old Fortnite champion definitely kept his cool with all the Shadow Bombs at the end of the match because the final moments of the match are absolutely tense. Psalm came second in solos with a prize of $1.8M however the points difference between the two is huge. Bugha earned 59 points while Psalm earned 33 points which is only 1 more than the 3rd place.

Coming to Duos, the first place was earned by Nyhrox and aqua who won the prize of $3M. But unlike Bugha, both of them will need to split their winnings and each member will take home $1.5M. This was the first Fortnite World Cup and it was a huge success. The winning pool for the event was a whopping $40M and nearly every player who participated and won some games got something to take their home.
