Fortnite's 2nd Birthday Event Starting Tomorrow With Challenges, Rewards

Epic Games has announced that to celebrate Fortnite’s 2nd birthday, a special event is starting tomorrow which will bring with it new challenges and rewards. This will be similar to the event held by Epic Games for the 1st birthday of Fortnite. It has been two years since Fortnite was released and judging by its success and how it is continuously sitting at the top, Epic Games has really worked on the title.

The 2nd Birthday celebrations are starting tomorrow from July 25, 2019, and will continue until July 31, 2019. During this phase, we are certain that the map is getting certain changes just like the previous year. Epic Games has confirmed in the official press release that the bus will be decorated and it will play a special music track to celebrate the occasion.

The event will bring with it four brand new challenges that will unlock new items for players. The details of these challenges have not been shared at this point however we got the challenges detailed by dataminers after the last update v9.40 was released for the game. The challenges revealed by dataminers are

Play 10 matches
Dance in front of 10 different Birthday Cakes
Outlast 500 opponents
Gain 50 health or shield from Birthday Cake

Along with these challenges, we also know that these challenges will unlock a brand new wrap, pickaxe, music track, and an emoji. All of these items are themed around Fortnite’s 2nd Birthday. Fortnite Season 9 is about to end and with Season 10 on the horizon, Epic Games has released the Overtime Challenges for Season 9 which will help you complete your Battle Pass.
