Playground Games just announced the second expansion for Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions during the Xbox’s E3 2019 presentation. This is the second expansion for Forza Horizon 4 and it was rumored some time ago that the second expansion is going to be based on LEGO and it turns out that those rumors were true.
Playground Games is known for their wacky expansion packs for Forza Horizon franchise. Forza Horizon 3 received a Hot Wheels themed expansion pack which was amazing however the lack of actual Hot Wheels cars made it pretty dull. The environment and tracks were amazing. This time with Forza Horizon 4, Playground Games is going with the world of LEGO for the game’s second expansion and the trailer looks amazing.
The expansion will feature cars and the map made entirely out of LEGO however we can still see some normal cars thrown in the mix as well while there are also LEGO vehicles in the normal world which means that the LEGO and the normal vehicles will be playable in both maps which makes it more interesting. The new expansion map is fully made of LEGO which includes the cars as well as the surroundings.
The LEGO map will also feature the weather which the game is famous for. It will have all four seasons and the map will change to reflect each season. There appear to be different areas as well in the map including desert, a city, and forests. There are some notable cars build in LEGO as well in the trailer as we can see a McLaren Senna and a Mini Cooper. However, it would be amazing if all cars in the game have their LEGO variants in the expansion.
LEGO Speed Champions is arriving for Forza Horizon 4 on June 13, 2019. Forza Horizon 4 is now out on Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
