Forza Horizon 5 Money Pit Treasure Hunt Guide – Clue Solution, Treasure Chest Location

Another Festival Playlist has gone live in Forza Horizon 5 and with it, we have a brand-new Treasure Hunt to solve for this week. With the dry Winter season in full swing, we have the new Money Pit Treasure Hunt to solve which revolves around the overall theme of the update: Donut Media. We have curated this Forza Horizon 5 Money Pit Treasure Hunt Guide for you which will help you solve this week’s challenge easily.

Money Pit Treasure Hunt Guide – Forza Horizon 5

This week’s treasure hunt is one of the most unique ones that we have seen since Forza Horizon 5 was launched because it does not require any sort of racing or any other task that requires driving around the game. This week’s clue for solving the treasure hunt says: ‘The Experiment Project – Number 5 needs 10,000 upgrades’. This statement is accompanied by a picture of a red 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata with a bodykit applied to it. If you have not already figured this out, for solving this week’s clue you must get inside a 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata and modify the vehicle to the point that the total cost of the upgrades is equal to or greater than 10,000 credits.

You can either go for minimalistic upgrades that make it past 10,000 or you can go absolutely bonkers on the vehicle and push your budget over 100,000, it does not matter. You just need to spend at least 10,000 on parts and upgrades on your 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata and after purchasing the upgrades, go back to the game and start driving it around to trigger the ‘solved’ notification. Now that you have solved the clue, you need to find the location of the treasure chest. This time around, the treasure chest is sitting in Guanajuato at the location marked on the map below:

The treasure chest is sitting next to some carts and under a festive huge poster on the wall in the background. Smack through the chest and you will earn 100 Forzathon Points as a reward along with 3 Points towards the Festival Playlist competition.
