We are entering the final week of the High performance Series Update of Forza Horizon 5 as we complete the challenges from the previous Festival Playlist and get ready for the next one. For this week, we have a brand-new Treasure Hunt where we will first look at the clue, solve the clue and then find the Treasure Chest and smash it in order to find those much-needed Forzathon Points to spend on this week’s items. We have curated this Forza Horizon 5 Old is Gold Treasure Hunt Guide which will help you complete this week’s treasure hunt easily.
Old is Gold Treasure Hunt Guide – Forza Horizon 5
Just like all the previous treasure hunts that we have completed, we will begin by analyzing the clue that we have for this week. This week’s clue says ‘Solidify the retro reputation by speedily earning gold’ with a picture of the 1997 McLaren F1 GT with a pole and a speed camera hanging on it. This means that to complete this week’s treasure hunt, we have to drive one of the Retro Supercars and nail a Speed Trap. As the challenge suggests, you will need to earn 3 stars on the Speed Trap in order to unlock the location of the treasure chest.
Once you nail the challenge, you will get the notification that you have unlocked the location of the treasure chest. For this challenge, you will find the treasure chest sitting at the end of the runway at the Teotihuacan. This is the strip with a Drag Race event as well right next to the big pyramid. We have marked its location on the map below:
Once you arrive here, smash through the treasure chest and you will complete the challenge. Upon challenge completion, you will earn 100 Forzathon Points and 3 Points toward the Festival Playlist completion.
