We are in the final stretch of the Series 9 Update of Forza Horizon 5 and the Spring brings a new Treasure Hunt to complete this week. Called Speed Machines, this time around we will be using the hot hatch that changed the entire concept of how we saw hatchbacks. With the Horizon X update right around the horizon, this Forza Horizon 5 Speed Machines Treasure Hunt Guide will help you how you can solve this week’s treasure hunt in the game easily.
Speed Machines Treasure Hunt Guide – Forza Horizon 5
For this week’s treasure hunt, we have the clue ‘German sport hares are lightning fast, splitting any zone in three’. This clue is shown with a picture of a 1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI MK1 at a speed camera. Since the clue mentions zone in three, it means that this is a Speed Zone challenge, and we have to nab three stars with a German Hot Hatch. The most obvious choice out of the bunch seems to be the star car, the 1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI MK1 and we used this very vehicle as well. Now, normally when you think of getting three stars at a Speed Zone, you instantly think of a track vehicle. However, this time we must do it in a hot hatch.
You will definitely need to upgrade the vehicle. We used an online tune as well and it seemed to help us complete the Speed Zone in just one try. You can use the same tune as well for the VW Golf GTI MK1 and its Share Code is 872 124 025. Use this tune and run the Punta Allen Speed Zone shown on the map above. This Speed Zone does not have any sharp turns so you should be good to go with this tune. Nail three stars at the Speed Zone and you will see the message that you have solved the clue and now can find the treasure chest to nab those Forzathon Points.
After the clue is solved, you need to head to the Gran Puente bridge because that is where the treasure chest is located. As soon as you exit the tunnel and get onto the bridge, jump down the bridge and you will find the chest sitting there under the bridge. Smash it and you will get the reward of 100 Forzathon Points and 3 Points towards your Festival Playlist competition.
