Time is flying like always and we are in the third week of the Horizon TrackDay update. As Autumn goes live in the game, the weather is drying down. However, we are just getting warmer with a brand-new Porsche to unlock this week and plenty of challenges to complete for those Festival Playlist points.
Track Daze Treasure Hunt Guide – Forza Horizon 5
This week’s treasure hunt brings another treasure clue for you to analyze and solve before we hunt down the treasure chest. This week’s clue states: ‘Revealing treasure is a serious knack, try burning out near the test track’ and it is accompanied by a picture of a 2013 Formula Drift #777 Chevrolet Corvette putting on a drifting show. Putting both of these together, we can easily solve the clue as to solve it, you need to pick any vehicle of your choice and perform a Burnout near the Horizon Test Track.
The Horizon Test Track is near the main Horizon Festival Mexico site near the big drag strip and the C130 jump. If you are still confused about its location, we have marked it on the map below:
Performing a burnout is a fairly simple challenge. Doing it on the Xbox controller is even easier as the triggers allow easy balance between the throttle and brake. Make sure your vehicle has enough power, or the best bet is to get in any American Muscle as they are the king of burnouts with their massive engines and enormous amounts of horsepower. You can perform a rolling burnout or a stationary burnout. For a rolling burnout, come to a complete stop and then fully press the throttle and the brake. Now slowly keep lifting your finger off the brake until your tires start spinning but the brakes are still applied. Find the sweet spot where it starts to perform a stationary burnout.
For a rolling burnout, pick a vehicle with weaker tires but a powerful enough engine and a longer ratio for the first gear. You must ensure that the engine does not gain traction quickly or you hit the first gear’s limit to change into the second as both will be a burnout killer. To start the burnout, stand at a standstill, fully press the throttle, and turn left or right. Make a 180 turn and then straighten out to go straight. This will ensure you get a nice enough rolling burnout to complete the challenge. Once you perform a successful burnout, you will get a notification that you have solved the treasure clue.

Smash through the chest and you will complete the challenge. Upon challenge completion, you will be rewarded with 3 Points towards the Festival Playlist completion and 300 Forzathon Points.
