Forza Motorsport 7 is Reaching End of Life in September 2021

Forza Motorsport 7 End of Life

Turn10 and Microsoft have announced that Forza Motorsport 7 will reach End of Life status on September 15, 2021. This means that after September 15, 2021, Forza Motorsport 7 will no longer be available for purchase in the Microsoft Store, and it will be removed from the Xbox Game Pass as well. Physical copies will remain available for sale normally however no new copies will be produced.

This goes without saying but if you already have Forza Motorsport 7 or its DLCs in your accounts, you will be able to play the game normally and even download it from the store after deleting it without any issues. All players who own the physical copy will be able to play the game normally as well however if they do not purchase the DLC until September 15, 2021, they will only have the base game unless they own the Deluxe or the Ultimate Edition physically.

Since Forza Motorsport 7 is also part of Xbox Game Pass, chances are that you may have purchased some sort of DLC for the title for playing with the Xbox Game Pass version of Forza Motorsport 7. If you purchased any paid DLC for the game, Xbox will grant you a token for playing Forza Motorsport 7 through Xbox Message Center. Tokens will start going out on August 2, 2021. If you want to continue playing the game, you have until September 15, 2023, to redeem your token.

In a bid to allow players to purchase Forza Motorsport 7 before it reaches End of Cycle status, the game is currently on a massive sale and will remain on sale until it is removed from the store. If you want to add the game and its DLC to your accounts permanently, you have until September 15, 2021, to do so. Forza Motorsport 8 is expected to arrive in 2022 so until then, you can play Forza Motorsport 7 by adding it to your account.
