FSP has unveiled two new power supplies as part of its Dagger Pro SFX power supply series. The two new PSUs feature a wattage capacity of 750 and 850 watts. The power supplies come in the SFX form factor which makes them ideal for small but powerful PC builds and offers support for many Mini-ITX workstations, gaming rigs, or creator PCs.
The FSP Dagger Pro SFX 750W / 850W power supplies have a mainly black color scheme, which allows them to fit in with almost any system. It uses the SFX form size, which is significantly smaller than the normal ATX form factor. However, if your chassis uses the ATX standard, each PSU includes an ATX chassis adaptor to assure optimum compatibility.
Due to the supplied ATX chassis adaptor, this tiny form factor still offers high ATX PC chassis compatibility, with a depth of 100mm, a length of 125mm, and a height of 63.5mm. These dimensions make it compatible with smaller SFX PC chassis, and it’s also modular.
This power supply’s modular design eliminates the need for additional wires, but it can handle high-end motherboards thanks to its dual CPU connectors. It has a 92 mm fan that is tuned for low-noise operation, and this low-noise operation guarantees that the fan stops spinning whenever the workload falls below 20%, further reducing noise.
Even at maximum load, the fan’s maximum noise level is less than 20 dBA. This guarantees that your PC may have high-end components while yet remaining quiet. This power supply has earned the 80 PLUS gold certification, ensuring that it will operate with a minimum efficiency of 90% at 50% load. This guarantees that your gaming PC or workstation operates at peak efficiency and dependability, ensuring that it does not shut down unexpectedly when you need it most.
These power supplies are available for purchase now on Newegg, with the 750W model having a price of $179.99 USD while the 850W model has a price of $209.99 USD.
