Gainward Confirms GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 Phoenix Graphics Cards

With the release of RTX 3000 series cards just a day away, many cards from different vendors have started to appear on the Internet. Gainward Phoenix RTX 3090 and 3080 graphic cards had also been listed on their official website before being removed.

Four pages for the RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 models had gone live before being removed and so far, there is currently no sign of an RTX 3070 card. The now-deleted listings showed that the Gainward GeForce RTX 3090 Phoenix will be available in GS as well as a non-GS variant.

The GS (Golden Sample) models have factory-overclocked with GPU chips but do not have any changes to the memory speed. The Gainward Golden Sample variant features a 1725 MHz boost clock which is a slight bump over the stock version while retaining the stock 19.5 GHz memory configuration. Both GS and non-GS variants will feature a triple fan design and a 2.7 slot cooler.

The specifications listed on the Gainward website also confirmed that the technical specifications of the RTX 3090 and 3080 cards. The RTX 3090 has 24 GB of GDDR6X memory and a bus bandwidth of 384-bit. The RTX 3090 has a whopping 5248 CUDA cores. The RTX 3090 will use a dual 8-pin power connector and 350W of power.

On the other hand, the RTX 3080 has a 10 GB of GDDR6X memory, 4352 CUDA cores, and a 320-bit bus interface. The RTX 3080 will also use a dual 8-pin power connector and will draw 320W of power. Twitter user @harukaze5719 managed to capture the Gainward listing for the RTX 3090 Phoenix GS edition before it was taken down.
