Galax revealed its Hall of Fame or HOF series of products earlier this month and their flagship RTX 3090 card is one of the best on the market and has many features. It comes in different flavors with the HOF standard, HOF Premium, HOF Limited Edition, HOF Extreme, HOF Extreme Limited Edition, and the HOF OC Lab Edition.
And the most expensive model part of the Galax HOF series goes for a huge $3,999 USD. These are GALAX’s most powerful cards to date and all cards feature a white color scheme. The breakthrough NVIDIA AMPERE GA102-300 core, with 10496 stream processors, combined with brand-new ray tracing and DLSS2.1 technology, supplemented by GDDR6X high-speed memory with a capacity of up to 24GB, makes the RTX 3090 HOF series a full leap in performance.
The GALAX HOF 3090 cards come with dual BIOS, having Silent and Performance modes, the card boosts up to 1800 MHz in performance mode. The GALAX RTX 3090 HOF EXTREME in silent mode boosts to 1800 MHz and up to 1860 MHz in performance mode.
The GALAX RTX 3090 HOF EXTREME limited-edition reaches a huge 1905 MHz in performance mode, making it the highest frequency air-cooled graphics card in the industry. Switching BIOS is very simple. Users only need to toggle the Dual BIOS switch on the graphics card to select different working modes.
In terms of output interface, it has 1 HDMI2.1 and 3 DP1.4a interfaces, supporting 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz ultra-high-definition output. The RTX 3090 HOF OC and RTX 3090 HOF EXTREME limited edition will come equipped with HOF Panel III displays which can be customized by the users to create personalize displays or gifs.
To back up the extraordinary price, this card is incredible at overclocking. The max TGP of the GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 HOF limited edition card is 500W and it features a max clock speed of 1875 MHz and the base variant has a clock speed of 1800 MHz. Those are respectable clocks, but the star of the show is the 16 world records it holds. It has been able to reach 3.015 GHz.
So far, the cards have not been officially released in the US but have been spotted on Australian Online retailer MWave. The GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 HOF lineup starts at around $3,007 USD (AUD 3800), and the most expensive offering $3,999 USD (AUD 4,499).
