Cybernoir Detective Game Hill Agency: PURITYdecay Launches August 31

Game Hill Agency: PURITYdecay

Achimostawinan Games has announced its indigenous cybernoir detective game, Hill Agency: PURITYdecay, set to launch on August 31, 2022, on PC. The game’s demo is also available to play right now as part of the Steam Next Fest.

The game was revealed at Glitch’s latest Future of Play Direct, as part of the Summer Game Fest 2022.

Watch the game’s trailer below:

Murdered sisters, mind-altering drugs and flying cities, to a case that goes way further than the banks of this one detective’s little neighborhood in this Indigenous cybernoir detective narrative adventure set in a post-post-apocalyptical future.

The game is a narrative drive, exploration-heavy, detective game. When you are out on a case, the game will help you in no way, not even telling you if you are on the right path, nor will it solve any mystery for you. Your sharpened senses and instincts are what will guide you. Exploring surroundings, looking for clues, interviewing witnesses, and devising potential suspects for analysis is what will make your case.

The futuristic timeline of Hill Agency has reshaped society into two distinct groups. There is the working class who make the living on The Ground, while the privileged Elites look down from the towering balconies of The Risen City above.

The people living in The Risen City have access to technology, enjoying a life full of untethered freedom, or so do they believe.

Your story begins on The Ground, in the neon-lit city of Akâmaskiy. You play as Meygeen Hill, a tracker by family trade, but a detective by choice. Follow Meygeen as she unravels mysterious and unearths the secret threads that link The Risen City and Akâmaskiy.
