Game of Thrones Related Content Teased by Xbox

Xbox Game of Thrones

Xbox has teased something related to Game of Thrones on its official Twitter account. The short 12-second video shows fire and then ends with Targaryen sigil on what appears to be dragon scales. There is no other information available on what sort of content is being teased here but something Game of Thrones related is indeed coming to Xbox.

The caption of the short video states: ‘And now your wait begins, Stay Tuned’ which certainly means that fans of the series will need to wait for some time before more details on the content are released. This could be related to something digital or physical which could be a Game of Thrones game or a custom console to celebrate the end of the series.

Earlier, we got some reports that George R.R. Martin is working with FromSoftware, the developer of Dark Souls franchise, to create a brand new Game of Thrones video game however a tease referring to that game might not be a possibility because it is not special for the Xbox One. Also FromSoftware or Game of Thrones teasing the game sounds more authentic rather than Xbox teasing the game.

At this point, our best bet is either a brand new Game of Thrones project or a custom Game of Thrones console which could look like dragon scales with the Targaryen seal. However, this is just a guess and it could be something else completely. Microsoft has been releasing special edition consoles for quite some time and in this case, this is the most proper speculation.

What do you think is coming out of Xbox studios in celebration of Game of Thrones? Do you think it is a custom console, a brand new game or maybe something else like a special Game of Thrones themed content for a video game? Let us know in the comments section below.
