Game Of Thrones Season 8 is just hours away and I thought why not make some predictions. People do like to do that and so do I. This way I will be able to tell you that I told you so when they become reality. I could also end up being wrong. That is a gamble that I am willing to take.
The following are my predictions for Game Of Thrones Season 8 that might come true (or not).
My Game Of Thrones Season 8 Predictions
1) The Targaryen House Returns
All the Targaryens that we know about are pretty much dead. Danny and Jon are the last ones. We have already seen them make love, so it is likely that they could have a child or two. Targaryens are known for mating with each other so their house could survive even if Danny and Jon have two kids. Twins would be ideal if you need to keep the bloodline pure but I guess that at this stage even half Targaryens would be better than nothing at all.
2) Jamie Might Die
Jamie has come a long way. We used to hate his character but he has grown on us over time as we have learned that all he has done is for love. He is indeed a great knight even though he only has one hand. I think that Jamie has been around for a long time now and the character is too good to be alive. He might play a major role in Game Of Thrones Season 8 but I have a feeling that he could die. I do not want that to happen but this is Game Of Thrones Season 8. Anything can happen.
3) Jamie Could Kill Cersei
As Game Of Thrones Season 8 is going to be the last one and we have seen that Jamie has turned his back on his sister I think that he might finally kill her as well. Jamie loves Cersei but she has been acting out a lot in the last season and this is not the first time that he has gone against his will or his honor. He did kill the Mad King for the betterment of his people. He could do the same here, keeping in mind that Cersei would rather have her people slaughtered by the White Walkers.
4) Aegon Targaryen
We know that Lyanna named Jon Aegon Targaryen just before she died. Jon is not the first one to be called by this name. I do not know why this is going to be important but this cannot be a coincidence. I think that something major is going to happen that will link to Job being Aegon Targaryen.
5) Coin Does Not Win Wars
We know that Cersei has hired an army and has a huge fleet of ships as well but as Ned Stark once said, soldiers win wars not coin. It is unlikely that Cersei is going to be able to beat the forces that back Danny. Not only does she still have two dragons, but she also has the army of the unsullied as well as the second sons. Not to mention all the Dorthraki fighters as well.
6) Daenerys Will Die?
I want Daenerys to sit on the Iron Throne after everything that she has gone through. We know that she deserves it and we all hope that she is the one that rules the seven kingdoms in the end. All this seems to plain and simple for Game of Thrones. Having her sit on the Iron Thrones just is what we all want but for that reason alone I don’t think that is what is going to happen. It is likely that she will give birth to twins and then die soon after or during labor.
Do not get me wrong. I have been on Danny’s side from the beginning but for her to sit on the Iron Throne is just to mainstream for the season. This is my Game of Thrones Season 8 prediction and you can disagree with it. There is no harm in that. Let us know in the comments below what you think will happen to Danny.
7) Arya To Pull Off Some Super Cool Shit
Arya has been one of the most interesting characters from the start and she has gone some really epic stuff in the previous season but I have a feeling that she is going to make us even happier in Game of Thrones Season 8. Cersei has been on her list for a long time now and even though I would like to see Jamie kill Cersei, seeing Arya kill her would be just as great.
8) Sansa To Betray House Stark
I have never really liked Sansa. She has always given me a bad vibe, especially in the last season of Game of Thrones. I do not know how but I think that she is going to betray houses Stark in one way or the other. Now that we know that Jon is not Ned Stark’s bastard and that Sansa is the Lady of Winterfell it is possible that Sansa can do something shady. Whatever the case is, I guess we will find out soon enough.
