Corruption 2029 Gameplay

The Bearded Ladies revealed their brand new IP, the tactical strategy game, Corruption 2029 last week and now the developer has released a brand new gameplay trailer for the game. If you don’t know about The Bearded Ladies, it is the developer behind Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden and they’ve been busy working on their next title since the release of the Seeds of Evil expansion for the game.

Last week, we only got to see a teaser trailer for the game however, this week, the developer has officially revealed the gameplay Corruption 2029 as well. Considering the fact that Corruption 2029 is releasing next week, the developers do not have enough time to delay between the reveals so we can expect some more trailers to drop over the weekend as well. Along with the gameplay, the video also details the background of the story.

Check out the first official gameplay trailer for Corruption 2029 below:

The 30-minute long video gives us a really good look at the game and what we can expect to see next week when the game comes out. The mission featured in the trailer is one of the early levels where you take control of some units who are stuck behind enemy lines. USA is now under control of a brand new government who calls itself The New American Council and you are deep in their territory in this mission as you try to disable an enemy super weapon.

The initial response towards Corruption 2029 by fans of their previous title has been pretty rough only because of the fact that the title is arriving as an Epic Games Store exclusive. The console releases might follow later but so far, only an Epic Games Store exclusive release has been announced by the developer which is causing the fans to retaliate. The release date for Corruption 2029 is February 17, 2020.
