Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Performance Shop Trailer Released

Gear.Club Unlimited 2

A new trailer has been released for Gear.Club Unlimited 2 by Microids and Eden Games. The new trailer showcases the performance shop feature which has been largely improved for the upcoming Gear.Club Unlimited 2.

Check out the new trailer below.

The trailer shows a lot of details about the upcoming second title in the Gear.Club franchise. The trailer majorly focuses on the Performance Shop but also shows a large variety of exotic cars that will be featured in the game.

Cars from a wide variety of prestigious makers can be seen in the game such as McLaren, Alfa Romeo, Pagani and Mercedes Benz. The game also features Mini, Koenigsegg, Porsche, Dodge, Lotus, Ford and many other brands which make it a very solid title when it comes to vehicle choice. This diverse lineup of authentic licensed cars shows that the developer is very serious and wants to deliver a solid racing title on Nintendo Switch.

The new trailer also shows another feature coming to Gear.Club Unlimited 2 which is the Performance Shop. The new options shown in the trailer look amazing and it looks like that players will be able to customize a wide range of options on their cars. These options range from custom liveries, paintjobs, wide body kits and performance modifications.

Players will be able to create custom liveries by choosing body paint, vinyl, racing numbers and other visual customization options. Coming to bodykits, there seems to be a wide variety of front and rear bumpers, side skirts and spoilers added to the game which are based on a tier system. Same thing goes when it comes to performance modifications.

There are engine mods, tires, transmissions and brakes which can be opted for better ones to make the car’s performance even better. This will give players a great variety of options to play around with and build the ultimate car of their dreams. This combination of visual and performance customization is a much needed feature in today’s racing games as it allows players freedom to play around with their vehicles.

Gear.Club Unlimited 2 is the second title in the franchise as the first one was originally launched for mobile devices and was later ported for Nintendo Switch. However, with the second title, this is not a port. This is a game that has been built from scratch for the Nintendo Switch console and it appears to be miles ahead from the original one in terms of features, mechanics and visuals.

The game was teased back in August 2018 via a trailer which showed some of the cars featured in the game along with some of the locations that will be featured in the game as well. Judging by the trailer, a wide variety of environments will be present in the game ranging from canyons, deserts, valleys to snow filled mountains giving players a decent amount of challenge.

Currently there seems to be only one proper racing game on Nintendo Switch and that was the original Gear.Club Unlimited. With the release of the second title, we will get to see if Gear.Club franchise becomes the ultimate racing franchise on Nintendo Switch just like Forza is on Xbox and Gran Turismo is on PS.

Gear.Club Unlimited 2 is coming exclusively on Nintendo Switch on December 4, 2018. The game will be available both as a physical copy and a digital purchase from Nintendo eShop.
