Gearbox held its E3 2021 showcase last night, and we got to see some trailers and an exclusive sneak peek at the set of the upcoming Borderlands movie. While there is not much to talk about, we did get to see a small update on Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and some surprise announcements as well. Below you will find all updates and trailers that Gearbox showcased during their E3 2021 showcase.
Set Tour of Borderlands Movie
Gearbox E3 2021 showcase kicked off at the set of the upcoming Borderlands movie where we got to see a small sneak peek at some of the characters that will be featured in the movie. Kevin Hart also made a guest appearance on the set as he shared his experience of working with Randy Pitchford and the Borderlands franchise. In the movie, Cate Blanchett is playing Lillith, Jamie Lee Curtis is playing Dr. Tannis, Gina Gershon as Moxxi, Janina Gavankar as Commander Knox, Jack Black as Claptrap, and Florian Munteanu as Tiny Tina’s protector Krieg while Kevin Hart is playing Roland.
Update on Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Gearbox gave us a small update on Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands which revealed that we will be able to fly on Wyverns in the game when it comes out.
Tribes of Midgard Deep Dive
Next up was Tribes of Midgard where the developer of the game gave us a deep dive on the title and how things work out in the game.
Godfall PS4 Announcement + Fire and Darkness Expansion Reveal
Godfall released earlier for PS5 and PC was revealed to be coming on PS4 with a free upgrade for PS5 as well. Anyone who buys the game on PS4 will be able to upgrade to a PS5 version free of charge. In addition, Godfall is also getting an expansion as Fire and Darkness was revealed with the Lightbringer update that will bring cursed loot and new items to the game.
Homeworld 3 Production is Underway at Gearbox
While it was a very sneaky update, Gearbox also shared some facts about the Homeworld franchise and concluded with the announcement that Homeworld 3 is currently in development at the studio and additional details about the project will be revealed at a later time.
