A new Genshin Impact leak reveals new characters and their abilities that might be heading to the game. Data miners have shared a lot of information regarding many characters.
The leak contains a lot of details which were shared on Reddit by polonoid75, revealing the new characters, items, events, rewards, and the finale for the Liyue story quests that came to an abrupt ending in the current version of the game.
We already know that Genshin Impact is going to get an update on November 11, which is likely to bring in new content. But the new leak might have shown way more than what the update was planned for.
The new update will feature the remainder of the Chapter 1 storyline in Liyue including a brand new boss fight against SPOILERS Childe himself, inside the Golden House which is a bit more south of Liyue in a small new added plot of the map which will be repeatable afterwards just like the Boreas and Stormterror fights.
As far as new Story Quests (the ones that focus around specific characters), none have yet to be confirmed for any characters that are currently missing them.
The leak also talks about the most important feature of the update, which is the reputation system. The leaked details mention that each region of the game will have its own reputation level with its own special rewards. Your reputation will increase by exploring the map, completing side quests, and completing bounties and requests. Each region will also highlight your completion progress for the region with a percentage.
Moving to the new characters, the leak reveals 4 new characters in the game. The characters are Zhongli, Childe, Xinyan, and Diona.
- Zhongli is said to be a 5 star, Geo/Polearm character
- Childe is a 5 star Hydro/Bow character
- Xinyan is a 4 star Pyro/Claymore character
- Diona is a 4 star Cryo/Bow character
